The Anchor Hocking 7729U Hi Ball Glass measures 3 1/8 inches in diameter and has a 9-ounce capacity for versatile use. This is an ideal design and size for a variety of cocktails or spirits such as bourbon, whiskey and scotch. Constructed of durable and see-through rim-tempered glass, it shows off the beverages and provides a long service life. For either casual or more formal use, the New Orleans glass is perfect for restaurants, bars and any other application. It comes three dozen to a case, so works for high volume operations. A highball glass is used to serve 'tall' cocktails and other mixed drinks that contain a large amount of a non-alcoholic mixer, and are poured over ice. It is often used interchangeably with the Collins Glass, although the highball glass is shorter and wider in shape.
