The Browne PC1218 - Cleaver has an 8-inch blade and ABS handle for convenient cutting. It is constructed of German stainless steel for durability and a long service life. The black Cleaver can be used for a variety of applications, including heavy vegetables like different varieties of squash and root vegetables with more force than a chef's knife or santoku knife. In addition to being used for cutting meat by breaking down tendons and bones, cleavers can also be used for pounding, mincing, dicing and slicing of a variety of other foods.
