The Browne POM13 13 inch Conventional Grill/Oven Mitt is constructed of cotton and canvas to protect hands from high heat. It is flame retardant for use with open flame grills. The mitt also repels water and stains for high volume use and a long service life. Sold in pairs the oven mitts are NSF certified and made in the USA. Also called an oven glove, oven mitts are a thermal insulated glove or mitten usually worn in the kitchen to easily protect the wearer's hand from hot objects such as ovens, stoves, cookware, etc. They are functionally similar to pot-holders, but designed to be worn over one's entire hand.
