Cambro’s granite sand food pan carrier is versatile is front loading for added convenience and efficient use. It is suitable for a variety of applications, accommodating full size, 1/2 size and 1/3 size food pans. It is ideal for catering companies, buffets and banquet events. The food pan carrier features durable polyethylene construction with a textured exterior that resists scratches, dings and dents. Food quality and temperature retention are ensured due to its polyurethane insulation and an airtight gasket. With this unit, hot food is held above 140 degrees F, and cold food is kept below 41 degrees F for up to four hours. An integrated vent equalizes pressure to release steam and make it easier to open the container. In addition, the door opens 270 degrees to swing out completely for loading and unloading food pans. Molded-in handles and a single, sturdy plastic latch ensure effortless transport.
