The slate blue electric hot food holding cabinet from Cambro holds food between 150 and 165 degrees F, meeting food safety standards while also maintaining moisture and preventing unintended cooking. It extends hot food holding time to ensure food safety and is designed for transporting up to six 2 ½-inch deep full size food pans to hot food to off-premise events, corporate parties, delivering food from central kitchens to satellite locations or longer catered events. The heated holding pan carrier has thick, foamed-in polyurethane insulation that maintains safe food holding temperatures for up to four hours once unplugged. An economical alternative to large, pricey warming cabinets, its polyurethane exterior is tough yet stays cool to the touch. A vent cap equalizes pressure and releases steam, while the 9-inch nylon latch opens and closes easily, secures tightly and will not bend.
