With innovative features that protect the work top from heat damage, Everest’s ECB52D2 chef base series has dual chambers, exhaust vents and additional insulation material to help direct heat away from the unit. Its self-contained and detachable condensing unit is replaceable and uses natural, environmentally friendly, EPA-compliant R290 refrigerant. The unit has an electronically commutated fan motor for fast cooling with less energy use. A full-length air duct system circulates cold air consistently. A time-initiated and temperature-terminated auto defrost cycle is reliable, while the large capacity condenser and evaporator coils resist corrosion. The unit includes 2.5-inch thick high density polyurethane insulation and is pre-wired and ready to plug in for use.
